Ntombizethu (Zethu) Diko has over seven years of experience in energy and environmental policy, with deep expertise in infrastructure and South Africa’s just energy transition. Her commitment to driving inclusive, climate-resilient growth is reflected in her impressive career. Zethu holds an Honours degree in Economics and Political Economy from Rhodes University. Prior to BUSA, Zethu served as an Infrastructure and Just Energy Transition Analyst at Krutham, where she led policy research, financing frameworks and public–private engagement strategies. Her work advanced green industrialisation, energy market reform and equitable transition pathways. She has also contributed significantly to renewable energy development as a Research Analyst at SAPVIA and to green entrepreneurship through her work at Indalo Inclusive, supporting small businesses and community-led sustainability initiatives.
