Koketso Lediga is a construction law and energy law attorney, conference moderator and project risk mitigation specialist with an LLB from the University of Pretoria and a MSc in Construction Law and
Dispute Resolution from King’s College London. She has 12 years of experience in energy, mining and construction procurement law, risk mitigation strategy, policy research and development, compliance with complex regulatory frameworks and contract drafting and negotiating. She has experience in managing small and medium-sized teams and reporting to and working with various stakeholders including commercial and development banks, contractors, consultants, international energy companies and government officials (including ministers). She has been involved in various energy projects that include solar, wind, biomass, hydro, geothermal, liquified natural gas (floating powerships) as sources of energy and spanned over eight African countries. She has practical knowledge and experience in governance and has been appointed as an independent director (on a board of a non-profit company) and a member of a board of advisors (on a board of a regional organisation within the energy sector). She has experience in moderating panels at regional and international energy conferences in
South Africa, Togo, Chad and Uganda.
