Designation: Investment Principal, African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM)

Iranga joined AIIM in 2022 as an Investment Associate and was promoted to Investment Manager in 2023. She is a member of the Pan-African investment team, contributing to the full investment lifecycle for AIIF4 – ranging from origination through to execution and portfolio management. Her responsibilities include financial modelling and valuation, sectoral research and leading of due diligence workstreams across multiple geographies and sectors. She has played a key role in the execution of several transactions, including AIIM’s USD180 million investment in NOA Group Holdings, a vertically-integrated platform delivering net-zero energy solutions to commercial and industrial clients in South Africa, as well as a USD90 million investment in N+ONE Datacentres, Morocco’s leading carrier-neutral data centre operator. Prior to joining AIIM, Iranga worked at Renaissance Capital, where she supported the execution of transactions within the energy infrastructure space in Africa. Iranga holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance, Banking and Investment Management from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
